Which are the Best Vegas Clubs and how to prevent paying cover charges?

A lot of clubs let girls in for free but it depends on a lot of factors, like the day of the week, the ratio of men to women already in the club, the way you dress etc.

If you plan to club hop however, I will suggest getting a club hopper pass. There are different types of club hopper pass.

There is the Palms All Access for $48 and grants you access to Ghostbar, Rain, Moon, and Playboy. This not a front of the line pass.

Another one is the Ultimate VIP club hopping and grants you access to over 15 hot clubs in Vegas and this is a front of the line pass.

There is also the LAVO, TAO pass. This is a weekend pass for $28

I'm sorry to be the one giving you an HONEST answer...but I'm also not trying to sell you anything (yet, LOL) regarding passes etc either. :D

You WILL pay cover charges to get into any "real" CLUB in Las Vegas...but there are other options.

Clubs topic: Passes, etc are only as good as the doorman that night says they are. You'll notice fine print "at the doorman's discretion" on pretty much every pass. Also, BUYING a pass is still paying a cover charge...you'll just either pay more to get in faster or pay more to get into more than one club as "discounted rates"....which is only a benefit IF you 'might' want to go to more than one on the SAME NIGHT. Being in your "upper thirties" and not into paying cover charges...I'm thinking that's NOT you. There are times when you 'may' be able to get into some of the less popular clubs or better...on OFF nights. They still have music and dancing opportunities..but not nearly the same atmosphere on the "hotter" nights.

Lounges, Casino Bar options: There ARE a few spots with great lounges/bars that are better than most towns clubs...and better than some Vegas clubs on their off nights. Mandalay Bays casino bar is my favorite example...it has live bands a large dance floor and NO COVER CHARGE. There are a number of examples of other lounges/bars too...but that's definitely the best in my 'very experienced' opinion.

What property you are staying at? That would help to identify where to go...some places are more convenient to get to from one spot than others.

Here is my opinion, why is it a custom that the guy pays? I am a female but I have a hard time understanding this concept. If they both met each other at a club and decided to go, then they can each pay their cover. If he wants to buy her a drink once they are in, well that's his call. There should not be an obligation there, after all they are just strangers who met on the street.

You could call the club in advance and ask to be put on the guest list. It worked for me at Jet last year
