Women with MTHFR. What did you go through to have a healthy pregnancy?
I have MTHFR. The kind that you get from your mother and your father. I had a daughter. Perfect pregnancy healthy normal. Then after her I had 4 miscarriages and went and found out I had MTHFR and got on meds and got pregnant with my son and was finally able to have a baby. He had downsyndrome though and I'm not sure about the connection. The next time I'm going to a "bigger" specialist as I have also had Gastric bypass surgery and they aren't sure what meds my body will actually absorb now. I'd like to hear anyone else's story. Wish me luck :)
MTHFR is a gene mutation that causes someone not to be able to carry through with a pregnancy. You can't process folic acid to give to the baby and it's a blood clotting disorder and some other stuff....
