Is Employeecertify.com a legitimate website?

Question

I posted my resume on craigslist and a potential employer asked me to fill out something with employeecertify.com.  It could be fine, but they're asking for a "check number, routing number, and account number," which sounds anything but.  I can't find anything about it online.  AND if it is a scam,  how can I report it?

This sounds like nothing but a phishing scam to get your bank account information. There is NO reason to ever give your bank account information to anyone you have not met in person and been offered the job. You only give your bank account number after you have been offered the job and are filling out your W2 form - and it only goes to the HR manager or Payroll manager

You can report any internet scams to http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx 

NEVER  go to any site and submit personal information before you've met at a company's office - at least 60% of jobs posted on Craigslist are nothing but scams to steal your money and identity. No legitimate company asks you to go to a random website before interviewing you - they have all the info they need from your resume and can call your former employer for a reference if they want more info about you before they meet you.

Once your account is hacked and your money is gone, there's no way to get it back. The bank won't refund you if you voluntarily gave your account number and routing number to a complete stranger. And you can't really go to Estonia to file a lawsuit.
