Is this true about Switzerland?

If you want to be a pedophile, go to Switzerland because they don't prosecute pedophiles there?

Is this a Roman Polansky related question? Supposedly, he has a lot of sympathy in France and Switzerland. Which blows bc he DRUGGED the 13 yo girl in addition to committing statuatory rape. If he did the same thing to a 30 yo, he would still be awful.

It is not illegal to "be" a pedophile in Switzerland. You can and, if caught, will be prosecuted for having sex with underage persons, and Switzerland has recently become more vigilant in helping other countries (especially Thailand) fight "sex tourism" involving underage prostitutes there and Swiss residents.

16 is the age of consent for sexual activity, though, and right now (there are changes underway) that includes prostitution. Perhaps that's what you mean?

Nobody "wants" to be a pedophile - you simply are one or you are not!

Stay out of this country if you only think about living your sick ideas - pedophiles are prosecuted severely in Switzerland like in any other civilized country.
