I am attending a 5 pm wedding on Saturday, wondering if this dress would be appropriate?

That's not really a dress for a summer wedding. So try some of these suggestions:

I am personally not a huge fan of that dress.

Even so, it is not really a "summer" dress for a wedding. Try a "lighter" color and style. This dress seems very "heavy" if that makes sense.

Black to a wedding? Even if it is sparkly, not a good idea. I would go with a calm color, but not black, brown, white, or cream.
