xbox live questions??? ten points to anyone!?

First you will have to set up an Xbox Live account. This can be done on your 360 or buying going Xbox.com and creating a free account.

Next you will have to pay for a subscription. You can buy redeemable subscription cards for a year, 3 months or 1 one month. You can also use your credit card and pay online using the xbox live account that you created.

Once you have completed these steps the only thing left to do is get your xbox connected to the internet. You will need a broadband internet connection. If you have a wireless router as well you can connect you xbox 360 to the internet wirelessly however since you have a pro you would need to buy a wireless adapter for the 360 this can cost you 60 - 90 dollars new. If you do not have a wireless adapter then you can simply use an ethernet wire.

OK well heres what ya gotta do.

If you bought the new xbox, skip the first step.

1. Buy a wireless router off Ebay or gamestop, that is if you have wireless internet in your house.roughly 60-120 bucks.

if you dont have wireless internet, connect a cable from your xbox into a jack in the wall.

2. (skip this if you used the jack) Install the wireless router using the disc it came with.

3. Create an xbox profile that you wish to be your xbox live profile. Look around, and find "Join xbox live!" (it should be somewhere on the dashboard) create it as a 1 month free trial, and then you get one month of free xbox live. after that, you can either be a silver member, in which you can private chatt with friends, download content, and add people to your friends list. you may not, however, play together, or be in a party together. that is silver membership. in gold membership, it is roughly 8 bucks a month, 50 bucks for a year of membership. i suggest the year, cuz trust me, youll probably be playing for a year.

4. Enter your credit card number (or you could visit a target or walgreens and purchaswe a membership card from there, same price) and as soon as it is confirmed, you become a member. if you used a card, just enter the code on the card (not under credit card) and youll be good to go.

as soon as that is done, you can talk in partys, play online, and do much more.

12 months: 49.99$

overall, if you get the 12 months, its about 100-150$ but its so worth it. you should get the free one month trial first in case you dont like it, so you dont waste your 8-50 bucks, and, because its free xbox live so why not!

All trolls aside. You have to buy a subscription to live. Its 50 bucks for a year or 15 bucks for 3 months. They always have special deals when you are on live such as if you renew you get a month or so for a dollar. You either need a wireless adapter which is 100 bucks (ouch) or ethernet cable to go in the back on the xbox.

you need a wireless adapter, internet and wifi set up on the xbox and also to purchases the subscription if you do it from xbox u have to have a credit or debit card otherwise walmart sells 3 months subscriptions for xbox gold.
