Three other opponents for Pacquiao?

Well, it seems Bob Arum has given Mayweather until the end of the week to agree to terms or Pacquiao's camp will move on to face another potential opponent, perhaps Cotto or Margarito.

For you personally, if you could list three potential opponents (besides Mayweather) for Pacquiao, in order of most want to see, who would the three names be and at what weight?

I personally have no interest in seeing him vs. Margarito or Cotto. We've seen him vs. Cotto already and Margarito doesnt deserve such a big payday. I feel that Pacquiao's last 3 opponents were slow guys who fought coming straight foward. I would love to see him fight something he hasnt't fought...quick slick fighters.

1 vs. Timothy Bradley Jr. undefeated top 140 guy where Pacquiao is still consider the champ...the champ should give the challenger a shot

2 vs. Andre Berto...the first time Mayweather/ Pacquiao fell through Floyd the #2 pound 4 pound fighter in the world fought the number 3 guy (Shane Mosley) since he could nto fight Pacquiao (#1). I would like to see Arum take this challenge and put Pacquiao (the #2 Welterweight) in with the number 3 Welterweight (Andre Berto) since they could not fight Floyd (the #1 WW).

3 vs. Paul Williams...Manny has moved up all these weight classes and challenges himself...how about moving up one more class and seeing what he can do against Paul Williams who has this enormous reach and work rate.

Not to be considered a copy-cat, but just agreeing with the other answerers, here are my three choice opponents for Manny Pacquiao's next bout:

Andre Berto (147) - If he is really the No. 3 pound for pound next to Pacquiao and Mayweather, then I believe he should be given the shot. Berto was supposed to fight Mosley who was then considered No. 2 pound for pound before he was denied the chance due to natural disaster in his home country. If he was good to fight then the No. 2 ranked pound for pound, then he also deserved to fight now the No. 1 ranked after Mosley was eliminated from the equation.

Timothy Bradley (140) - Here is an upcoming exciting fighter against the present outstanding and exciting fighter. The hungry new young blood against the old guard who is reportedly retiring after his next fight. This will be a good fight. Both have speed and power. Hunger for recognition vs experience.

Juan Manuel Marquez (140) - Meeting halfway at 140 (Marquez to go up 5 pounds from 135 & Pacquiao to go down 7 pounds from 147). This is more to settle the issue being raised by Marquez and other pundits that Marquez won their last two fights. Other than this reason, I do not favor a Pacquiao-Marquez return bout.

F^CK BOB ARUM. Mayweather fought Shane. Pacquiao cannot go fight Cotto again. And if he makes Pacquiao fight Margarito he will be doing considerable damage to the reputation of not only Top Rank but Pacquiao as well. Stop fricking treating Margarito as if he did nothing wrong you old coot. This concept of making your fighters under the same promotion company fight each other to avoid having to interact with other companies is bullsh!t.

    3 other opponents for Pacquaio?

whoever's at the top of the 140 division this time next year

    Floyd Mayweather

    Retirement

    those are his 3 options

Pac could fight either Mosley or Berto but realistically Williams is too big physically. Margarito is a possibility, but the negative aspects of Margarito's history make that an unattractive fight.

If I could pick Manny's next opponent and it couldn't be Floyd I would like to see Manny fight Amir Khan, for some reason the Barerra fight left a bad taste in my mouth, I would like to see Khan against a genuine super star. I don't think Khan could beat Manny, but it would be interesting to see if youth could keep Khan in it where skill has failed older fighters.

Paul Williams at 147. Well he says he can make it so lets not think him weight drained if in case it happens. But Paul will also be the biggest (literally and figuratively) challenge that Pac would face in his career. I would be very interested in seeing this fight. Imagine if Pacquiao wins this one... just WOW! Can anyone say top 10 best ever pound for pound? I know many would argue with me, but this is almost as good as Henry Armstrong winning a middleweight title.

Tim Bradley at 140. Simply because I'd like to see Pac defend his 140 ring belt. I heard he'll lose it if he doesn't fight at 140 in his next fight. And I think Tim deserves a big fight like this.

Andre Berto at 147. Of the three, perhaps the most logical choice. He is natural at 147. I am tempted to say Sergio Martinez at 154 as my third choice and I'd be lying if I didn't admit that would be the most interesting fight for Pac, but Pac COULD NOT win that one.

%beat DeLa Hoya far more beneficial convincingly than Floyd did, yet Floyd made the Marquez strive against look common and Manny worked adversarial to Marquez. Hatton become undefeated even as Floyd KOed him, yet Manny in basic terms about killed Hatton, so that is a frustrating call. Over all Floyd regarded more beneficial than Manny by an rather huge margine adversarial to Marquez, and Manny edged Floyd by a large margine adversarial to Oscar. on condition that the Hatton strive against turned right into a blow out for both, i'd call this one fifty one/40 9 in Floyd's favore, an rather narrow income, if any in any respect.

Pacquiao vs Berto to semi unify the division

Cotto, Marquez and Margarito are all coming off one sided loses. Well Cotto did win Yuri but was killed vs Pacman and Margarito. Why does all these people want to see Pacman in easy fights? Fight the best to be the best. Not fighters that have gotten knocked the f@ck out.

1.Andre Berto at 147 to see how pacquiao does against slick fighters.

2.Sergio Martinez at 154 i have a feeling it could be the most exciting fight you'll ever see in a long time

3.juan marquez at 140 so pacquiao can shut this guy up.
