Is it hard to move to Australia?
I'm South African and I love it here but the crime is too much. I've been in love with Australia since I visited there a few years ago. I'm not sure what skills they are looking for though, but I work here as a medical assistant. I am under 45 and speak English fluently. (I heard that is something they are looking for.)
How hard would it be for me to move to Australia?

I'm afraid that you will have to upgrade your qualifications if you want to move to Australia. - I very much doubt if your current occupation is eligible.
Here are the lists of occupations for various visa types:
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/_pdf/sol-schedule3.... The SOL - for independent and family sponsored migration. Points tested
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/_pdf/sol-schedule3.... Schedule 4 - eligible for state sponsored migratio. Points tested and statre sponsorship required
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/_pdf/sol-schedule3.... The ENSOL - employer sponsored migration. Formal employer sponsorship required - a job offer isn't enough

I thought about going to australia myself one day but you really need to find what skills they are looking for or else it's going to be hard to get a job.....or not. Make sure you have enough money to hold you for a bit and have all of your important documents with u. I hear that it can be hard moving to australia but just do some research and it might be easier on you.

In the medical profession you should have no problems, but try the Immigration website for more info.
