mkv file problem? please help?

Question

I have a mkv file which is not working on flv player... it has two audio tracks..(one russian and the other english) I converted the file into an avi file ( but I did it with a trial version of the software so it converted just the first three minutes of the file) the video worked fine but the english track was lost.

can anyone guide me how to solve this problem.. i want the english track aswell as suggest a free mkv converter.

You need a MKV Converter that can edit mkv videos and convert mkv files to many video formats like avi,mp4,wmv, etc.
