Pokemon Hard Gold question?

I caught Entei and Raiku the hard way. I bought lots of Repels and Pokeballs. I weakened them, put them to sleep, than tried catching them. Even though it took a few days, I caught them, none the less. Most people would try to catch them with a MasterBall, but I think it's always best to catch Pokemon without it.

P.S. Even if you get a Diglet with the ability you're looking for, they'll still use Roar and get away.

Gamefreak made the dogs exceptionally hard to catch this time short of a masterball. It's easier to track them but all you can really do is beat them down to red and try to catch them every encounter. They will always run and mean look and shadow tag will not work. You would need a pokemon with soundproff and mean look and no pokemon does. They even run when you put them to sleep.

i used a gangar to do it. i only made it lv 40 so it was faster then the dogs and use mean look to trap it then hypnosis to put it to sleep then dream eater to weaken it. it took me about 4 tries for each dog but it worked out. gangar is a good pokemon to use for catching running pokemon. i caught latias or latios the same way

for suicune since he stay still just freeze him with and ice type move
