How do I get into safe mode?

Not sure how to get into safe mode without turning of your computer but if you do want to turn it off then do so, then while loading press F8 just keep pressing it ever 1-2 seconds from the time it turns on till you get the log in menu however if you get to the log in menu then you have to restart. If you are successful the screen should be black with white letters and there should be an option to run safe mode. Another way is to just unplug the computer like you said but that isn't recommended. Hope this helps.

Safe Mode is done by turning on your PC > after the computer logo (dell, hp etc) disappears, press and hold the F8 on your keyboard until the Windows Advanced Options Menu pops up...select Safe Mode or Safe Mode w/ Networking - if you wish to connect to the Internet

To get into Windows Safe mode tap the F8 key as the computer starts up. Tap it unitl the menu comes up, then select Safe Mode.

Turn on your pc and keep tapping F8 until a menu pops up. Select "Boot to Safe Mode" in the menu and wait for it to load.

You can enter safe mode at startup - Reboot your computer , wait for the POST beep, then hold down the F5 or F8 key.

if that doesn't work click Start < Run < type 'msconfig'

click start up or boot up or something like that and there will be a Safe Boot radio boot you can select

Start Computer and keep pressing F8 a menu will open you will see it .
