Best way to thaw frozen paneer?

I have frozen paneer cubes. What's the best way to thaw it? In the microwave (how long?) or in the fridge? Is there anything else i should do before using it?

    wrap it in paper towel then plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to thaw.
