R&P: Care to share me your favorite songs/bands from the 60's?
I like the simplicity of the music. No one was dancing around in crazy costumes or playing their instruments too loud. I love the focus on good vocals and clean, easy playing. It is relaxing. So, share with me your favorites from that era if you would be so kind.

On the rare occasion I use Wikipedia I give them credit, I admit I don't always know some things.

But two bands I HAVE been getting into lately (from the 60's) are Ultimate Spinach (lolz, I know) and The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band. Links:

I dont usually care for those "as seen on tv" cd packages, but I have the "flower power" collection from that Time Life infomercial and I really like almost all of it. Its 10 cds with all different years from about 1965 to 1975, I think. Among the top played I have of those is Barry Mcguire and canned heat, but im not sure the years, exactly. Im pretty sure eve of destruction is 1965, but i'll need to check wiki on the other.. I dont know, I cant find it, I cant even claim fake knowledge using wikipedia.
