how can i stop thinking about this little boys tragic life?

i made the mistake of watching the peter connelly story on youtube, for those that don't know it this poor little boy was systematically tortured by his step father for 8 months, until he finally was murdered at 17 months old. i cant stop thinking about this poor little boy now...i keep crying and a few times i have rushed into my 1 year olds room in the middle of the night and woken him up just so i can cuddle. i don't ever want to forget this baby completely but im sending myself insane, i just wanna forget it for a little while...any advice anyone please!!!

You have to WANT to stop thinking about it, but you've already said you don't want to

Oh i think you need ot let your body cope with it on its own. Just think of how lucky you are and how lucky your child is and that there is a lot of cruelty in the world that you can't really do much about but you can have your own slice of heaven right here and you can give all the love in the world to your little son and somewhere, if the poor boy you can't stop thinking about is watching you, he'll know that there are good people in the world and he'll know that he is in your prayers and in the love that you extend to your son

    you have tender heart.

maybe you won't forget this boy, but maybe you can give your attention and love to the children around you. Made as if you do it for peter connelly.

Wow, well this shows motherly love and protectiveness. Don't worry, in time your kid will grow up and leave your house unharmed. Its just your motherly "fear".
