Party games for adults that DO NOT involve drinking?

I want to have a party for my 20th birthday. I've got a lot of time to think about it still, but I want it to be something fun and unique. I was thinking maybe a bonfire party. We could roast hot dogs and marshmallows and such. My friends are a really diverse group, so I'm not entirely sure what to do for entertainment.

Are there any party games that are appropriate for 18 to 24-year olds that DO NOT involve drinking?

I suggest you go with just a bonfire party and roasting the hot dogs and s'mores; skip the games. You don't have to drink to hang out and enjoy your friends. I find parties with games really stilted and boring. Half the time I dislike the games. I'd rather just talk with my friends and enjoy myself than play a silly game. Baby showers are the WORST! If you're insistent on the idea of games, then play beach volleyball, frisbee or have a sandcastle building contest. I'm assuming the bonfire will be at a beach. Don't force anyone to play games. Your friends are going to feel like they have to if you over plan the party and announce, "now we're going to play..."

Source(s): I'm over 21, enjoy a glass or two of wine with my friends and hate party games.

How about a good old fashion game of green Ghost. I have that game and it is played in the dark. It is a blast, and I had a lot of fun with it. We also told ghost stories and made fake graves and hid things and you would have to find them, we made this haunted cemetery complete with people hidden in the dark to scare the crap out of people. I am not familiar with drinking games, well I am, I just don't play them lol, I would be a sleep in a hour if I did. ((Emma))

    Have a white elephant!

Have each guest bring a random thing from home (can be useful, silly, random). Each thing must be wrapped. Then count the number of people that brought something. Say ten people brought something. Write the numbers 1-10 on slips of paper and have everyone draw a number. Starting with 10 they pick a random gift and unwrap it. Whatever it is they must keep it. Next number 9 has the choice to either steal number 10's gift or choose another one. If they steal number 10's then number 10 must choose another gift. This cycle goes on until number one has ultimate choice.

If you want you could have a theme like have everyone bring a cd or dvd. etc

I'm not even an adult and I can't think of any that don't involve drinking.

All of the non-alcoholic party games are rather childish, but then again so is drinking...

I don't know your friends, but playing urban-hide and seek is a lot of fun. Go out at midnight, run around the neighborhood and play hide and seek.

It does depend on your neighborhood, though. If you live in LA I wouldn't advise that.
