Anchovies. Love them or hate them?

I love anchovies!!! In salad, with pasta, in a tapa, on the pizza!!! I recommend you the Spanish brand Serrats!! Really delicious!! If you want to know different recipes for the anchovies see the link below (It is in Spanish but the pictures can inspire you :-)

I have the hate/love feeling with:

- Pringles chips (Yes, I love the flavour but I hate I can't stop eating them although I am not hungry any more)

- Mayo (A bit of it is ok but too much is disgusting..)

I like anchovies in different applications but not on pizza or without a soak in milk to remove the salt.

Escargot (snails) are REALLY tasty...

I've had all sorts of organ meats and I don't like most of them but at least I tried...

Sautéed Meal Worms are a tasty way to boost protein content in a meal...

Scorpions and Crickets in lollypops...

Fish Cheek Meat...

Octopus and Squids in all sorts of applications...

There is almost nothing I'm not willing to try once and I don't understand how anyone can so offhandedly decree that they won't try new things just for the experience.

I love them. Granted, the best was one time when I got fresh anchovies (they'd been swimming in Monterey Bay that morning) which were about eight inches long, brushed them with olive oil, sprinkled them with herbs (inside and out), and threw them on a hot grill. That was a deeply spiritual moment.

If you're talking about the oil-packed salted ones which come in tins and jars... those are pretty awesome too. It's tempting to make a nice salad nicoise tonight with some.

Love them, in caesar salad, greek salad, or once in awhile on a pizza --

but, I only crave them occasionally.

I had escargot once. It was so much better than I expected --

but it's the massive garlic that I loved about it.

I am not keen on caviar at all, really. But, I'll take a nibble.

For me, seafood is the delicacy -- because I get so little

of it. The SO is all about beef.

Really salty, but I love them. Course, my name isn't Lot.
