The best offensive player is probably between Jake Locker and A.J. Green. Locker has an intriguing combination of athleticism, arm strength, accuracy and mechanics. He won't put up real sexy stats because he doesn't have a very good supporting cast, but if he was on a more talented team he would be a legitimate Heisman candidate. Its tough for me to pick any of the big name receivers (Green, Julio Jones, Jonathan Baldwin, Michael Floyd, Deandre Brown and Ryan Broyles), but at this point Green looks like the most polished and natural receiver of any of them. He's not a physical freak and is a little slim, but he has a legit second gear and top notch hands, body control and ball skills.

The best defensive player is between UNC's Robert Quinn and Arizona State's Vontaze Burfict. Quinn is a defensive end that has the raw athleticism to play rush linebacker in a 3-4 in the NFL and put up impressive stats despite drawing a lot of attention from blockers, paving the way for guys like Marvin Austin to preform above their talent level. Burfict was only a freshman last year but was as impressive as any college linebacker I've seen in a long time, and by the time he comes out will be a borderline guarantee for a top 5 pick, even as an inside linebacker. To say the kid is an animal is an understatement.
