HOW DO I CREATE SUCH A LONG LIST WITH THE FOLLOWING FEATURES?
I have a program in excel to do a certain calculation. to get the answer i need to input the data in this format =calcComposition("ALART"). I have a long list of sequences eg ARTLSSSS, LTTSAVA, LLTS,( thousands) that i need to use in the calculation. Instead of having to do it one, by one. Is there a way I can create a long list liek for eg
1. calcComposition("ALART").
2.calcComposition("SLARTSLT").
3.calcComposition("ALRSTARATA").

You can possibly use a macro, you might want to use some sort of Visual Basic processing, or do some sort of search and replace in Notepad, or perhaps even write a Python script that just takes the list, rewrites it the way you want it, and saves it in a csv so that you can import it more or less directly in Excel.
