Should I major in Computer Animation or Art Education? =(?

Ok. Currently my major now is Computer Animation. I want to teach art just as much as I want to do animation. The problem is that I am worried about job security with computer animation. And it really wouldn't bother me much to switch my major considering you don't need a degree to do animation anyway. Maybe I would try and learn it on my own. I also know that art teaching jobs are hard to find as well but I live in texas and I would be certified to teach EC through 12th grade so it wouldn't be that hard to find right? And I know once I have the job, I don't have to worry about job security.

Which one do you think I should probably major in? I also plan on getting my masters strait away. In Art Education if I keep my major computer animation, or in art history, if I switch my undergraduate to art education.

thank you!

my daughter was attending art school for animation, we were told by the admissions counselor that the market is getting flooded by animation students because so many people think it's the cool thing to do, so now she is going for a general graphic arts program.

if you know that teaching jobs are going to be hard to find maybe you should go in for a general graphic arts degree, focus on that and minor in animation.
