Should i get a tattoo?

ok i am 12 but a mature one though. Recently my kitty Saboo died she meant the WORLD to me, her death has affected me very badly. So I thought "What can I do to like honor her" I decided well I could always get a ta too on my arm. It would be in the shape of a heart that is red and the name Saboo would be in the middle of the heart in green. My mother said "Maybe on your 13th birthday in December" i know its odd for a 12 year old to think about getting a tattoo that has a "meaning" I have thought about when I get older my arms will be flabby and old looking but i dont really care.

Update:

well Saboo was very dear to me.She was my everything i loved her very much. Yes i know that I am 12 but in years from now i know i will not regret it. I know it sounds dumb because she was just a cat.NO she wasnt she was more than that to me she was my best friend. I know that most ppl think that I will regret it.I wont.

Update 2:

well Saboo was very dear to me.She was my everything i loved her very much. Yes i know that I am 12 but in years from now i know i will not regret it. I know it sounds dumb because she was just a cat.NO she wasnt she was more than that to me she was my best friend. I know that most ppl think that I will regret it.I wont.

Update 3:

yes i know that the Jewish law forbids tattoos but i dont wanna marry a Jewish man or be buried in a Jewish cemetary. Because they arent any Jews (except me) or Jewish cemetary in my area.

Also I never thought of Saboo as a cat. i always thought of her as my friend that was always there with me no matter what. no its not that i cant get over her. Its becuase i wanna honor her and rember her and she will always be with me wereever i go.

It's not unusual to want a tattoo in honor of your pet. My mom has a tattoo of her dog's paw on her arm and I think it's really cute. But honestly I think you should wait until you're older. A 12 year old with a tattoo is absolutely ridiculous, and I would think the parents are complete morons for allowing their kid to get a tattoo that young.

I thought about tattoos when I was around 8 years old, but I didn't beg my mom to get one until i was 17 because I wanted to be ABSOLUTELY SURE I wasn't going to regret it or get something stupid. I liked some pretty lame things when I was your age, and if I would have gotten them tattooed on me, I would have regretted it. :[

I'm not saying your idea is stupid, but I think wanting to get one at 12 years old is pretty absurd. Seriously, WAIT UNTIL YOU'RE OLDER. You'll be glad you did, and the more you have to wait for it, the more you will appreciate it. As long as you think about her every day, you're honoring her. You don't need to rush out and get a tattoo as soon as possible to honor her. :O

I'm usually not against people getting tattooed under aged, but I usually mean people who are 15-17...even I think 12-13 is to young. I can understand the pain of losing a pet that was important to us, I'm sure a lot of us can, and I really don't want to offend you, but the tattoo you described with the heart and the name and everything, does not sound like a good idea. It is was to cliche. Even if you got the name 'Saboo' in fancy lettering would be better then actually putting it in a heart. But anyway....13 is way to you in my opinion, wait a few years, and if you still want to honour her, then do it.

Now I'll reply the ones, however you must too! What was once your first tattoo? A center When did you get yours? thirteen. If you should not have one,do you wish one? What type of tattoo do you wish?Stars on my shoulder. How many do you might have?a million Where do you might have one?On my left palm. :] PIERCING IS BETTER

  • People get really attached, and I know that, but getting a tattoo of you pet is ridiculous. Trust me, in a year you will be thankful you didn't get a tattoo. Plus your only 12! That's way too young to get a tattoo! I don't care if you claim your mature, your way too young for a tattoo. If you get this tattoo you will regret it. You can remember your cat without a tattoo. Think of something your cat loved. Do something with that. Your cat would have liked that much better. Please. Don't get a tattoo. If you really want to be mature decide not to get that tattoo.

Plus, if you get that tattoo you can't be buried in a Jewish cemetery when you die. What if you marry a Jewish man?

Well i know that losing a cat is difficult and especially when she was u best friend. If u really think u are mature enough to go through with it.I think that u should make ur mistake and it will be a lesson to u.If u don't regret it when ur 45 Good For You. I think just do it. I don't think its ridiculous at all since she was ur best friend. i know many ppl who have lost a friend to cancer or murder and got a tattoo with their friends name on it. I think its fine. I in fact have a tattoo of my lizards name on my arm as well i got it when i was 14 and i don't regret it one little bit.Gretchen was my baby. So I got a tattoo of her. I think you should go through with it if u think u are that mature and u have a parental consent.

im not gonna tell u to reconsider cuz it was a cat if it meant something it means something but def wait im telling you this because there is a reason the legal age mmost places is at least 18 and its not because ppl that age are any better at making good decisions its because at 12 your body is still growing and your tat could end up in a diff place or looking distorted andnot just when your old but like 5-10 years from now

is this a joke? i don't care how old you are, no 12 year old should get a tattoo. you'll regret it for the rest of your life. it'll fade and look bad, you'll have to hide it from employers, and you'll be embarrassed by it one day and you have to explain to your kids that you couldn't get over losing your cat when you were 12. there are worse things in the world, trust me. you'll be okay. do something else to remember saboo by.

First of all, you are obviously not a mature 12 year old if you want a tattoo of your cat.

Second of all, it would be impossible for you to get one even if you were 13.

    Third, you WILL regret it.

What are you going to tell your employer when you are 30?

"Oh yeah, my cat died when I was 12."

You have to think and not be naive.

Wow your mom said maybe? I'd be so happy if i got a tattoo under 18. Go for it if you like it but remember it takes surgery to remove and its painful to get a tattoo.
