I like the answer by "Lilitu" - but I'm not sure Bismarck really hated anyone.

I feel fairly certain that Bismarck could care less about religious differences.

He was Prussian - an aristocrat - a noble - Junkers class.

To me - after reading his biography - he was the ultimate pragmatist.

I would not want to play chess with Otto von Bismarck.

Poland was a country which could be had - fairly easily.

In the 1790's - it disappeared - gobbled up by Austria, Russia, and Prussia.

The interesting part is that Russia in the 1790's was ruled by Catherine the Great

    - who was entirely German. She did bother to learn the Russian language.

The Polish were a people occupied by Prussia (Germany than), Austria and Russia. Of course this provoced A LOT of upraising. They especially hated the Germans and the Russians as the Polish were Catholics and the Germans Protestants. This caused a religious conflict as well as a conflict between the occupied and the rulers.

Bismarck who was interrested in a peaceful empire without the troubles caused by the Polish people thus was not a big fan of them.

If there is not any rationalization of this on the internet then there could desire to be no rationalization. i assume the Poles in simple terms revolted for the relaxing of it. that's often exciting to taunt a neighbouring superpower basically for the lulz. besides, neighbouring superpowers tend to invade Poland basically for the lulz each and all of the time besides, so possibly the Poles desperate to play a comedian tale on them rooskies and initiate this conflict themselves for a transformation. Bismark supported Russia via offering to take a million/2 of that pesky united states of Poland off their palms. that's what Germany and Russia in many circumstances do while it is composed of Poland.
