every person had a weight preference whether they admit it or not. i'm 5'8 and 115lb and one thing i have learned is don't change for anyone other than yourself. I'm naturally a skinny person and i cannot gain weight so if someone asked that of me it would be impossible anyway. It is weird after 2 years he would just spring that on you though..

but, some guys do prefer overweight women to skinny women and the other way around. Most people i know, both guys and girls prefer someone with a healthy weight than an underweight or overweight person. I'm not saying we're underweight, i'm just picking out that a person's preference does change and maybe that was the case with him, but it does seem weird to me after 2 years he would ask that of you. He obviously didn't love you for you and in my opinion you are better off to find someone that does.

for someone of a height of 5'7.5 168 is only like 18 overweight. it isn't really him being a 'chubby chaser'. and yes fat people have a intimate relationships. some men prefer that. you should try and not be so shallow. he probably just wants you to be healthy. 118lbs for a women of your height does not sound healthy.
