Does anyone like Joe Buck?

One must assume Mrs. Joe Buck likes him.

But that's only an assumption.

Im fairly certain Joe Buck dosent even like Joe Buck. He has to be the worst baseball anouncer there is right now. He screws up more often the any other anouner i have ever heard but refuses to ever admit he made a mistake or correct himself. I belive he thinks he is the IRS of anouncers!

Personal Favorite Joe Buck f up:

Two years ago in the playoffs Cardinals/Dodgers with Rafeal Furcal batting, Joe Buck explaned how Rafeal Furcal had an emergency Vasectamy (Got Snipped). He mean to say Emergeny Apendectamy (Apendix Removed). Apparently according to how Buck was saying it Rafeal must have been getting way to many women pregnant lol.

He was asked by a reporter about this after the game & had "no comment" seriusoly, not even a laugh about it or a woops, he is so full of himself!

I think Joe Buck is a likable guy and could be a decent announcer in the right circumstances. But, FOX insists on the sports people acting like idiots and monkeys (OK, everyone, remember to act MORE like Terry Bradshaw today!) and Buck is forced into celebrity "sightings" (Oddly enough, those celebrities all seem to be the stars of FOX shows....)

While he will never be anywhere close to as good as his dad, I think the way he has to announce on FOX makes him even worse.

And that's about the nicest thing I could think up to say about Joe Buck. I wouldn't call myself a supporter, but perhaps a sympathetic detractor.

First, I thought you meant John Buck (the all-star catcher). Then I remembered, 'Joe Buck! The announcer! The guy everybody seems to hate!'

Yeah, I don't mind him; in fact, I like him! BUT, it 'could' be because he's kind of all I know. I don't have cable or satellite, so I only get the FOX games; I don't anybody from ESPN, WGN, etc. So, I don't know why people don't like him, but, I don't really have anything to compare him with.

Also, I'm one of those people who, generally, likes everybody.

Let's put it this way. He ain't his father. Jack Buck was one of the greats of all time. Joe had some big shoes to fill but unfortunately he's not good enough. He makes it even worse on himself by teaming up with Tim McCarver. The worse color commentator of all time.

Joe Buck is just another Announcer, You can't love all of em, but you half to love some of em. Its a matter of Opinion... as for me He is a neutral.

Joe Buck has been riding his dads coat tails for Years. I can't stand him!

Nah, he's not really a very good announcer and takes shots at certain teams/players. While he isn't as bad as Chicago White Sox announcer, Ken Harrelson (he gone!), he's still bad.

no just cardinals fans. he is a homer with a monotone voice. and i'm not talking about local broadcasts, i'm talking about nationally televised broadcasts. just listen to him when the cardinals lose to a team in the postseason. and he shouldn't even be doing football.
