Open Question- Click Edit ( pencil icon) in the toolbar beneath the question and click Delete Question.

Resolved Questions- You cannot. You agreed to that when you first joined Yahoo Answers.

But you can contacting Yahoo at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com the missing "E"is correct. Include the link to the question, and why you want it deleted. They will probably NOT delete it. But you can also try by having have friends/contacts report it and it will be deleted.

WARNING: Dont have too many people report too many of your questions, or your account could be suspended.

You can also hide you Q&A by mousing over the My Activity tab. Then click Edit My Preferences.( or go to http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit ) Scroll

down to privacy and check both the boxes that say " On my public profile, hide my Q&A from people who are not my contacts" and "On my public profile, only show my Answers Network to my Contacts".

NOTE! Contacts can still see what you post. You can unallow people to add you by unchecking the box that says "Allow other Answers users to be my fan." Then scroll down and click Preview, then save.

Sorry you cannot delete old questions that are resolved (or gone to the public vote), they become the property of Yahoo for future reference by other users on this site. The only questions that can be deleted are open questions that have not gone to the public vote. If the question has gone to the public vote you can always vote no best answer and hope that someone else does the same thing.

  • You can only delete questions that you asked, and you can only do that while they are still 'open'. Once a question is in 'voting' or has been resolved via a Best Answer being chosen, the question belongs to Y!A and is in their database forever (or until they start archiving old Q&As anyway).

You can also email Yahoo Customer services at y_answers_team@yahoo.com or y_answrs_team@yahoo.com and ask for them to delete the question for you. In your email include the link to the question you want deleted, explain why you want it deleted and ask them to delete it for you

To delete your question while it's still open, go to the question page, pass your mouse over the pencil icon in the toolbar below your question, and click on Delete Question.

Did you vote 'No Best Answer' on it???? Post a link & we can take a look at it for you.

    :o)

this would somewhat help you : a million. First circulate to My interest > My Q&A 2. click on Vote for perfect answer 3. click on NO perfect answer (placed ultimately of all given answer) 4. carried out !! Your answer has been deleted promptly. observe : you won't be able to delete in case you or somebody have chosen perfect answer as quickly as.

You can delete only open questions.

In your open question, click on "Edit" and "Delete question".

Solve or in voting questions could be deleted only if they are reported as abuse.

Just go to your question then go to "Edit" and click "Delete Question". Is that easy. Seriously not a hard thing to do.
