We went to Vegas for my 21st birthday and I didn't turn 21 until the day after we arrived. I contacted the hotel to find out if I could book the room being only 20 because we were going to use my credit card. They will not let you check in or use a credit card unless you are 21. We had to use his credit card to book the room and to check in. This was at Excalibur.

There are hotels that allow 18 and over to check in, though. They are

    MGM Grand

    LV Hilton

    Golden Nugget

    Luxor

    Plaza

    Riviera

    Vegas Club

It should work. The hotel really only wants to make sure that the person registering is 21 years old, and secondly that they have a credit card on file so that they can bill somebody for any damages.

I'd call the hotel in advance to just make doubly sure though.

FYI: For all thoe who say they have been never asked their age whilst checking in, the motel tests government issued identity which shows the age. maximum if no longer all states, even have some sparkling seen observe on the identity if the guy is decrease than 21.
