Name Kaidyn for a baby girl.?
I'm thinking of the name Kaidyn for a baby girl with the nick name Kady. Which spelling out of these do you like best Kaidyn, Kaedyn, Kadyn, Kaydin, Kayden, Kaden, Kaiden? And I know this name is more often a boys name but I like it for a girl. Thanks everybody!

I would think this name would perfectly suit a girl. I love it! I think I like the way you spelled it in the question, Kaidyn, only because it looks more "girly" as Kaden or Kaiden looks more as a boy name. Good luck!

Although I don't like it for either gender, I think Kaidyn is the best spelling. The "y" does imply that it's a girl. Kady is really cute!

Of all the spellings you listed, I prefer Kaidyn or Kayden.
I like Kaelin or Kaylin better, but Kaidyn is cute too.

It's really modern and not really my style, but one of my best friends just had twins two years ago (girls) and named them Caidyn and Grace, and I definitely love those girls so the name has definitely rubbed off on me. I like the spelling Kaidyn (very similar to Caidyn) and you can use Caidyn too, if you want!
Good luck!!!

Rhymes with Aiden -- Check.
Starts with K -- Check.
Contains the letter Y -- Check
Is unfeminine or 'unisex' -- Check
Has at least 30 alternate spellings -- Check.
This name couldn't be more trendy if it tried. Please consider giving your daughter a feminine, classic name that won't cause her to be mistaken for a boy/man on paper, and won't force her to spend a lifetime correcting people on the randomly-chosen spelling.
Some ideas:
Katie (full name Katherine, Kathleen or Caitlin)
Ada
Aideen (feminine form of Aidan)
Sadie (can be nickname for Sarah)

Please don't...it's a highly trashy name for a boy, and even worse for a girl, since everything that rhymes with Aiden is so common and trendy as a boy's name. Plus, with so many possible spellings, hardly anyone who hears it will ever guess the right one...she'll be spelling her name for people until she goes crazy.
What about Katherine or Katrina, nickname Katie?

i actually really really love this name! and i like the original spelling you have.
good luck with your babyyy :)
