I had my pointe shoes fitted with ouch pouches but my teacher decided we cant use them anymore now what?

its not a big deal but how do i ensure that when i switch padding my shoes still fit. i like the shoes i have and can not get them where i live so it would mean a two hour drive to get another size fitted.

She wants us to use papertowels or handi whips

If you use paper towels you should be fine. But If they are still too big, It'll really hurt your toes, trust me. Just try them on and move around in them to make certain that you like them once you put the paper towel in.

I don't think it will make that big of a difference because pointe shoes adjust to your feet. When I first started pointe I had ouch pouches as well and was fitted with them and then we were told we weren't aloud to use them and if we wanted padding it had to be wool. But since I was told after just a few classes when I switched it adjusted perfectly.

As someone else said, they DO mold to your feet so if you switch, they will mold to the next type of padding you have. Good luck!
