What Would Constitute Being The Best In The Country?
Hello I was wondering what specific details or statistics would constitute someone being able to call themselves the "top real estate agent in the country"? I'm currently writing a sales letter for a website and the broker is a top agent rated #1 in the county of Santa Clara in California. However in my opening headline I put "top real estate agent in the country!" He is a very honest Broker in that he doesn't want to lie so if someone could tell me whether or not I can put that line or not and what constitutes being able to call yourself that. It would really help!

I would say most number of sales or most dollar amount of sales.
Otherwise, "Most respected" or "Nationally regarded" would be appropriate.
It's a shame that in America we use superlatives ALL THE TIME, and they lost their meaning.
