Will I still get my unemployment check?
I got approved for UI benefts recently and just sent in my continued claim on the 21st. I am currently waiting for my first check to come in the mail. Today my career counselor suggested I register for California Training Benefits. So I did it and then I got an email stating that my interest was received and they flagged my claim. Now Im worried they aren't going to give me my UI.
What do you think? Will I still get my check or did the career counselor screw me over?

2 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhy Is The MLS Bad For Agents?
Please provide me with a few reasons as to why the Multiple Listing Service would be a bad tool to use to promote a listing from an agent. We know that the purpose of the MLS is for Brokers to share listings and information and to contract offers with other Brokers who might potentially have interested buyers but I'm looking for reasons why a private agent, acting without a Broker, wouldn't be wise to put their listing up on the MLS and promote it.
Could it be that the buyers who contact them will already be working with an agent? Will they be mostly contacted by agents and Brokers? Will their ability to do a double end closing be nullified?
Give me reasons why the MLS is bad for Agents to promote their own listings!
Thanks :)
5 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoWhat Cities Make Up this Metro?
I'm advertising on Yahoo and Bing right now and overnight I had astounding success. Unfortunately many of the leads I got overnight were from outside the San Francisco Bay Area Metro where I told Yahoo to display my ads. What cities make up this metro?
1 AnswerSan Francisco1 decade agoWhat Are The Biggest Problems You Face As A Realtor?
Hello,
I am getting ready to launch my own business online which will focus on buyer leads for Realtors and wanted to improve upon my service by making sure that I cater to the problems that most Realtors face when it comes to receiving Internet Leads.
Are you a Realtor? What would you say is the biggest problem you have with leads you get from the Internet? What would make the lead more effective and worth paying up to $100 for?
Thanks!
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoHow much should I charge for this?
Happy Holidays! My name is Marshall and I specialize in generating exclusive home-buyer leads for Agents, Brokers and Mortgage Lenders. I basically have a set system that allows me to generate a ton of qualified leads right from my websites.
My current employer has reported that he pays upwards of $200 per lead sometimes from other service providers and yet I've heard from other agents that they pay around $50 per lead. So the gap is quite large.
My leads are high-impact and ready to go. I get the full contact details including name, address, phone, email and zip code where they are looking to buy homes. Then I get the search criteria like # of rooms, # of bathrooms, stories and price range. Then I take it one step further and find out if they've been preapproved for a loan, how good their credit is and if they have cash for a down payment.
I'm ready to go out on my own and am looking for answers as to how much I should charge up front for each lead? Should I charge $50 up front and $150 if the lead turns into a sale? What do you think I should charge for my leads?
BTW: The leads that I get are home-buyer only and usually fall into people wanting to buy throughout the Bay Area of California. Thanks!
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoIf A Person Writes Me A Check And Puts Tomorrow's Date?

6 AnswersPersonal Finance1 decade agoIf I Need A New Processor Do I Have To Buy A Whole New Computer?
Just bought Grand Theft Auto 4: Episodes From Liberty City for PC. Actually I have a laptop. My lap top is a Pentium 2 with 2.0ghz speed and ram. My video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon X300. On the game it says I need an X1900, this might sound dumb but which Video card is better, the X300 that I have now with Windows 7 or the other one?
Also, in the Processor requirements it says that I need an Intel 2 Duo 1.86ghZ or an AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz. Now I don't know what all that means but I know I have Intel 2 installed in my laptop and my processor is a 32-bit Only.
If I need a 64 bit, do I need to buy a whole new computer or is their a specific product that I can buy at a store?
Thanks.
4 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHow Do I Explain This To My Boss?
My boss thinks I boast too much about the leads that I generate for his Realtors and he says that I can't brag unless I have something to compare it to. So does anyone know like out of 100 leads what the average # of homes shown should be? Can you give me your answer in percentages?
Like you could put; 100 leads - 50% shown - 20% offers written - 5% accepted etc. Thanks!
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoIs This Illegal Or Complete BS?
I work at a real estate office and am a non-licensed assistant to a Realtor. I recently told someone the price of a home as it's listed on public websites like Redfin.com where anyone can see what the listing price of a home is. I just got reprimanded by another agent for giving someone the price. This agent went to the broker and told him to get me in trouble and pitched it to him that the government can crack down on a non-licensed person giving out the price of a home to an interested buyer.
He pitched it to the Broker that I could be a threat to his company and basically threatened my income and survival.
How is this illegal if the price and the features of homes that are for sale is PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoCan I Take This To A Lawyer? URGENT!!!!?
I just asked one of my co-workers if she could install a program on my computer so that I could make a quick edit to our company web site. She was asked by me and my boss over 3 weeks ago to make a small change to our HTML code and she never got around to do it. I simply emailed her and asked her if she could install the program on my comp so I could get it done. She emailed me back and said that she got it done and next time "try not to be so, how do I say this politely, stuck up!"
Does this constitute as harassment?

1 AnswerPersonal Finance1 decade agoWhat Would Constitute Being The Best In The Country?
Hello I was wondering what specific details or statistics would constitute someone being able to call themselves the "top real estate agent in the country"? I'm currently writing a sales letter for a website and the broker is a top agent rated #1 in the county of Santa Clara in California. However in my opening headline I put "top real estate agent in the country!" He is a very honest Broker in that he doesn't want to lie so if someone could tell me whether or not I can put that line or not and what constitutes being able to call yourself that. It would really help!
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoDo I need a business license before an LLC?
Alright...
I currently work as a freelance content marketer. I'm thinking about starting an LLC.
My question to you is...
Do I need to first get a business license before I can register an LLC in California?
or
Can I just form an LLC without a business license in the state of California?
Thanks!
1 AnswerSmall Business1 decade agoHow Do I Explain This To My Boss?
On Monday I gave my 2 week notice. That same day he asked me if I wanted to come in on Saturdays for a few hours and type leads. I told him that I would entertain that idea as a way to make some extra cash. Unfortunately my new employer made me sign a confidentiality agreement stating that during my new employment I will not be allowed to work for ANY other employer while employed by the new company.
So I need to express to my current boss that when I leave on July 9th I will not be able to work for him in any way at all.
How can I express this in an easy way so that he will understand and not try to manipulate me into working for him?
5 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade agoDo the police have a watch list for potential criminals?
I've been doing some research online lately and reading a lot of articles on people who have been arrested for various crimes relating to child abuse, sexual abuse, preteen porn etc. and it dawned on me...What about those people who are watching this scuff or looking at illegal photos in their home, but aren't sharing it with others? Can the police find out that they are doing this? Do the police have a watch list for people like this? Does their IP get recorded when they browse sites that are illegal?
I find it odd that only people who share illegal scuff and memorabilia get arrested but not the people who simply watch and preview stuff in their home by themselves. What do you think?

2 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoWhat Does This Joke Mean?
There's this crazy lady in our office and she always tells customers these stupid Polish jokes...
No customers ever laugh at them and it just makes her sound like an idiot.
She always tells this one specific joke:
Do you know why Polish women don't breast feed their babies?
A: Because they can't get the nipple over their breasts!
Umm....what? What does that mean? What does it imply?
