Is This Illegal Or Complete BS?
I work at a real estate office and am a non-licensed assistant to a Realtor. I recently told someone the price of a home as it's listed on public websites like Redfin.com where anyone can see what the listing price of a home is. I just got reprimanded by another agent for giving someone the price. This agent went to the broker and told him to get me in trouble and pitched it to him that the government can crack down on a non-licensed person giving out the price of a home to an interested buyer.
He pitched it to the Broker that I could be a threat to his company and basically threatened my income and survival.
How is this illegal if the price and the features of homes that are for sale is PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE?

It's not illegal, more so unprofessional. I'd be mad as well, the guy passes a joke of a real estate test and thinks he's the end all be all of publicly posted house rates haha.
