Computer problems, looking for program to reboot another computer, has allot of viruses.?
They gave me a dell windows xp home edition computer that has allot of viruses. I cannot open any folder or program because of it. when I try to open something it says that it cannot open it because is at risk of getting attacked or something like that. I want to know if there is a program that a can save on a disk or cd to reboot the computer. If there is could you show me how to do it. I will really appreciate it.

boot computer and tap the F8 key repeatedly then choose safemode with networking open browser and go to safety.live.com that is microsoft's online virus scanner run protection scan then run the cleanup scanner it's free...or use another computer go to Avira.com and download a rescue disk it's free then set your bios to boot from cd/dvd and run the antivirus before anything can boot...Pandasecurity.com offers one it's free

Unless there is something on the computer that is worth a lot of work to save, do a clean re-install of the operating system.
If you try to get rid of all the viruses you will probably end up in the situation where a lot of system files have been corrupted. By the time you get all this straightened out you could have had a clean system ready to go with a lot less work just by doing the clean re-install.

Hi, there is this software called "SD FIX" try downloading and running that, if not u need the windows cd, just borrow it off a friend, and use a cracked serial or keygen to make it work :)

yes their is, try to get a kaspersky rescue cd kit then go boot, scan for viruses and delete.

NO. if you have disk simply re Format then you have clean install....
