Are there large buses/mini-buses with mixed groups ( not for one group and not taxis) for sight seeing in Rome, Florence, Sorrento ( for Amalfi Coast Tour) ? Can somebody please give me the names and contacts of these tour operators. Are these tour operators reliable and how good are they? From where can these tours be booked?

Yes, there are. Viator is one of the big players here for day trips and longer for sightseeing. See: http://www.viator.com/Italy/d57 . They are reliable & good.
