Can anyone identify this unusual aircraft?
Flying over London, England not far from Northolt semi-military airport..
It's RAF, I believe, and it looks as though it's built to fly high with those narrow wings and extra control surfaces. So probably a spy-in-the-sky aircraft.
Sorry, it's a bit blurry...it was so loud that I thought it was just one of the commuter helicopters that come over at various times and I was slow to react :-)

Looks like a Piaggio Avanti to me, http://www.piaggioaero.com/
Check those and see but the forward wing and the pushers are a giveaway.

Piaggio Avanti, not a spy plane at all. Just an Itallian made light turboprop. They are pretty common business/personal aircraft. They are very fast and efficient little planes, and suprisingly roomy inside.
Sorry to say it's nothing special.

It's a Piaggio P.180 Avanti
My guess would be it's in support of the forth coming airshow at Farnborough.

It looks like a piaggio avanti one unusual model and is used for commercial purposes and is very nice inside,nothin' to special just odd looking.
