They both about the same, stay away from wol-mart brands cheap junks.

    check this one out http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_16691_Eclipse+...

is a eclipse one, but your getting the quality than anything else.

I would also suggest you check into kenwood headunit, they don't suck at all. I personal favorite are the JVC arsenal series headunit and Kenwood eXcelon headunit. Pioneer Primer is another decent head unit, but is more difficult to use, if you can use a top pioneer primer line headunit, I am pretty sure there will be nothing on this earth for CD players you can't use, Alpine are very nice too, but your paying for the brand over the quality, and everyone knows alpine. also be sure to check into some "Clarion" Headunit too, stay away from Sony for sure. But I heard that sony X-plod are nice, never used one so couldn't tell you, ask before you buy so you can have a general idea on what you'll be getting.

Source(s): I have owned 2 after market Headunit all from JVC, one is JVC KD-HDR30, second one is JVC KD-AHD59, all nice CD players for the price and quality.

STAY AWAY FROM SONY!!!! I cannot stress this enough, the JVC at least has an MP3 player, I would just go to walmart and get a pioneer head unit or even best buy and get an open box HU, the JVC is better then the pioneer but not my much... I would go on ebay and look into alpine or pioneer If you can find one locally. Crutchfield has great customer service, you might spend a little more but they will take care of you if you have any problems and give u all the install accesories and instructions.
