Kilowatts -- how much does the electric company charge?
I know it varies depending on your region. I'm not looking for exact rates, just a range.
And I also know the rates go up during high usage.
The reason why is that I'm considering a whole house fan to augment my air conditioning. Running the a/c for 5-6 hours while I sleep seems pretty inefficient. So a whole house fan might be the answer. I'd just like to know how much they cost to run.
Thanks!

I live in NM and I am charged around $0.045 per kWh. This is about average for electricity gernerated from fossil fuels. other forms might easialy be $0.06-7 per kWh.
