There haven't been a lot of good drama films like that in the last few years. Focus (2002) was okay. It was based on a book by Arthur Miller about anti-semitism in Brooklyn, New York post World War II.

IMDB search of most popular titles with plot matching "good vs. evil": http://www.imdb.com/search/text?realm=title&field=...

But it all depends on what kind of movies you're looking for. The main theme involving good and evil can be racism, religion, cops vs. bad guys, war - anything. So there are a ton of things you can search for but it helps to narrow down a theme.

I know it isn't recent but I thought you might like to check it out. It's a great movie about innocence vs. evil. The movie is called 'Legend'.

    Plot:

A magical adventure which features elves, demons and other mythical creatures. Darkness, the personification of evil, plans to disperse eternal night in the land where this story takes place, by killing every unicorn in the world. Although he looks unbeatable, Jack and his friends are disposed to do everything to save the world and princess Lili (who Darkness intends to make his wife) from the hands of this evil monster.

The Watchmen might fit your description except it's not a drama.
