Sky PLus HD installation?

I am an existing Sky Digital subscriber. I want to upgrade to Sky Plus HD.. My question is, will I require a new Satellite Dish installed or will Sky Plus HD work using my existing Sky Digital Dish. I have had the dish for 9 years.

If you have sky+ then theres no change needed, just the box and pairing the viewing card. Sky+ and Sky HD require 2 cables from the dish. Its possible if you only have a single cable you would need an upgraded LNB (The bit that sticks out) but that it would work with the current dish.

If you have an oval mesh type dish that should be ok, if you have a standard Sky box (not Sky +) then you'll need to have the the LNB changed from a single to a twin with twin satellite cable feeding the new Sky + HD box.

You'll also need either a HD Ready or Full HD TV connected to the Sky+ HD box with a HDMI cable to view Tv programs in High Definition .

Sky will give you a new box and will add a second line to your existing satellite dish for the HD format.

Your existing dish will be fine but you will need an HD telly to receive HD progs.
