How can I gain balance while doing a scorpion?
I can't hold my scorpion for more than a few seconds. I'm a flyer in cheerleading, and I really want to be able to do it in the air. I can't do that until I can do it on the floor. How can I be more balanced while I'm doing it?

Do it slower... Like do a lib then take your leg back and pull it up into your scorp.
Or you could lean up against something and then move away from it till you gain more balance.

Try to pull it up slower. It also might help to become more flexible because it will be easier to do. Try having someone hold your ankle too because it makes you sturdier.
