Why is the NAACP condemning 99.6% of the White Population...and choose to ignore the fact?

Because they are desperate to remain relevant. Without racism, they have no platform, so, they have to stir the pot.

So a non-slave percentage of 6.5% was a demonstration of how unimportant slavery was? You have an odd way of proving that slavery wasn't really a problem. If a little less than 300,000 of blacks in the south were non-slave, that means a little less than 3.7 million were slaves. Yeah, that's a stat to be proud of!

Not to mention that the NAACP was created way past the abolition of slavery in a time when, even though nominally free, blacks were still considered second class citizens. You can try to deny this all you want.

Then there's the problem of your statement that the NAACP condemns 99.6% of whites. Only slightly over two pages, not one of which supports your statement. Perhaps you googled it some other way.

Edit: Apparently, you are the one who didn't read the article. I quote "According to federal census reports, on June 1, 1860 there were nearly 4.5 million Negroes in the United States, with fewer than four million of them living in the southern slaveholding states. Of the blacks residing in the South, 261,988 were not slaves. " I took four million to calculate the percentage since it says fewer than four but not how much fewer. I then divided that number into 260,000. That is the percentage of blacks who were not slaves in the South.

It was just as wrong for blacks to own slaves as whites, but that percentage was even smaller. And as I already mentioned, that wasn't what the NAACP was created about.

Now, about that 99.6% statement. Find any sources yet?

Maybe it's not all about slavery. Maybe it's about the treatment of ALL black people throughout the history of this country (which only seems to be getting worse).

Plus, you people are the only ones who seem to think that NAACP speaks for all black people.

Maybe instead of "reading" so much, you should go out and actually talk to some black people and find out that they don't condemn you.

If anyone with an IQ over 75 agrees with the NAALCP I suspect they have a agenda to somehow get low IQ minorities to mail them money.
