Which prepaid cell phone should I go with?
Tracfone, Straight Talk, Boost, Virgin mobile? Any others? I'm trying to pick a new phone to get. What has your experience been with these? Any recommendations?

Tracfone is really good with service. I seem to have service when my friends who have at&t don't.
But if you can afford to pay Straight Talk monthly, I would choose Straight Talk.

I have had virgin mobile for over 5 years my parents have had it for 9 years, so far it has been great! Customer service is wonderful the longest I've been on hold is 5 or 6 minutes. The phone plans are great! I have to pay $15 every 3 months. I've never had a problem with the phones I have gotten they have all been prepaid. They even worked out a plan that fit my budget. Defiantly get Virgin Mobile!

My brother, John, prefer Tracfone. But I here prefer Virgin Mobile.
*Tracfone: Charged by the minutes. Once you top it up, you get double the minutes. Ex: John has 40 minutes left, so he top it up & got 80 minutes.
*Virgin Mobile: Charged by the dollars. Ex: I bought $20 phone card & I get 400 minutes.

Don't get Virgin Mobile. I had them about 3 yrs ago and they suck. They don't give you what you pay for. My mom has Boost and she has alot of trouble with them. I would get Straight Talk. It's only $25 for 30 days and they give you unlimited text, talk, web, etc.. Tracfone isn't all that great either. I've never had them, but I've heard they aren't very good.

I had verizon wireless. It was ok I guess. I'm not sure how it compares to these. I think the plan I had was 2 dollars everyday and 10 cents per minute. Prepaid is a pretty big ripoff if you ask me :(

straight talk is the best!!!! i've used virgin mobile but they sucked. in fact, my current phone is straight talk. i have the samsung R450, the slide one. the plan is cheap great. you get 30 min for 30 bucks a month and, they rollover, so u get 60 next month, then 90, etc. they also have a year unlimted plan.

Go with the one that most of your friends have because it might be cheaper to call people with your network
