Hotel Garbi, Playa Den Bossa, Ibiza?

Has anyone stayed in this hotel? What I really want to know, being in my 60s, is whether this hotel would be OK for someone in my age group and not full of young party types. I don't object to them having a good time but at my age I need my sleep and don't want somewhere with 24/7 noise and disturbance.

Update:

OK, thanks and I will ditch the idea of Playa Den Bossa but I definitely won't be going to Santa Eulalia, been there and hated the boring dog shite infested dump with a vengeance. Guess its back to Benidorm for us, still the best Spanish resort in the Med.

    Hi there.

    Honestly?

It's ok but Playa D'en Bossa attracts lots of families because of the waterpark and the fact the resort is very close to the Airport. As long as you dont mind that, then thats ok.

The Garbi is an older hotel (Formerley The Garbi Park) which had a bit of a refurb upgraded, I believe from a two star to a four star hotel. It is now looking modern and contemporary and I'm sure it would be clean and comfortable (the beds are hard though)

If you are in your 60's however, I have to say that I would not have thought that Playa D'en Bossa is the right choice of resort for you. Instead, I would recommend the much prettier and more upmarket Santa Eulalia, which is much more suitable in my opinion. I love the beach there with its lovely shops and cafe's/restaurants lining the promenade. There are some nice hotels there and it does not attract the young clubbers you want to avoid.

Have a look at The Sol Ibiza Hotel or The Santa Eularia, I'd recommend both for you without hesitation.

    Good luck!

I would agree with Lady Traveller with regards to not staying in Playa Den Bossa, i would say its not suitable if your going between june and september.

Lots of people call it more 'cosmopolitan', i think its the same as San Antonio except the noise is in a different language.
