I have noticed that no vampire movie untill now is enough realistic/satisfying around vampires.Opinions?
Well, well, well...Something recently made.Twilight saga.Don't even get me started.Sparkling, gay vampires with emotions over bloodthurst fall for humans with amazingly low self-esteem.
Blade.Wow.''Immortal'' vampires who turn into dust every time a sword touches their skin.No body power, no speed, just pathetic fighting movements against the main protagonist, which are really worthless anyways, as they always face the same fate:they turn into ashes.
Underworld.Same with Blade.''Immortals'' again, who can die by fire, blades, knifes etc.So much hopeless just to think about it.
I don't even like Drakula by Bram Stolker. He did not write about handsome, ageless vampires, but for an old Count who lives in a castle, has scary aristocratic appearance. No action, just a taste of horror and terror.
I mean...com'on now.Seriously, I have watched SO MANY vampire movies(not only those mentioned in here) but no one, and I mean it, has given me the satisfaction of learning about those wonderful creatures.
Of course each writer/creator/artist has the right to approach the genre with any way he/she wants, but I'm fed up with fake immortals who die so much easily.Immortal-in my opinion- doesn't mean only to remain young and handsome, but also not to die by methods that can be fatal for usual mortals(sensitivity to sunlight is smth which does not bother me at all, as long as it is part of the natural vampire myth). But what the hell goes on?Okay, maybe I'm missing a good movie out there, a movie which-probably- has what I'm looking for.
Anyways, I f I am mistaken, just tell me.Also, if you can suggest a really good vampire movie, do it.
I really need it at the moment...

So...
You are in love with your own imagined concept of what Vampires should be, and you can't find anyone creating a Hollywood movie to match what YOU think vampires should be.
Simple.
Write your own.
Of course, there is Nosferatu, the one that started them all. You can't knock it, since it came first. There is the True Blood series, where you can watch vampires get their heads twisted completely around, or watch them get set fire to, and they keep coming back for more... and the best part about the True Blood Series... is that it isn't a movie that ends in 2 hours. There's Interview with a Vampire. There's http://www.imdb.com/find?fr=c2M9MXxsbT01MDB8ZmI9Y3... the IMDB (Internet Movie Database) results for over 500 films and shows involving vampires. Take your pick.
But again, if you want to insist that EVERYONE'S fantasy much match yours, write your own movie.

I do agree that Twilight doesn't have your typical vampire characteristics I mean they don't even have fangs..it's meant more of a romance and kind of forbidden love than a horror. the reason they are so many different variations of vampire movies is because there's really no way to know for sure how a vampire is "suppose" to be. Any author or director can create what they see in their minds. I've read many vampire books and seen many movies and shows, I personally love Laurel K Hamilton Anita Blake books, and the HBO series True Blood which the books are great as well

Well, the "handsome, ageless vampires" you speak of are not part of the "natural vampire myth" either.
Originally, and based of of which country's myths you want to refer to(almost every culture that has been has their own form of vampire), vampires were hideous beasts.
With that said, you may like "Lifeforce". It's about cosmic vampires.
