I have a Vivitar Freelance V15 camera. I need the driver.?
I lost the driver disc and I need the software.
It's a camera, but I use it for my webcam.. I had the software in my computer but then it crashed.
The camera looks like this-

If anyone has the driver or knows where to get the driver from for free, please respond.
Thank you.

PS- there are NO spaces for a card. And I want to use this for a webcam, which you need the software for.

Go to Vivitar.com > Support Link > Select Category > Digital Cameras > and look for ViviCam V15. It should display a download link for the camera.

Ciao Chao is correct; in the film days Vivitar equipment was generally good quality stuff. Vivitar was an American company that sold stuff that was made by several different well known, high quality Japanese manufacturers such as Cosina, Konica and several others. If you have a DSLR and find old Vivitar film lenses that have your camera mount, you can pretty much expect to have good quality performance at very reasonable prices. Most likely you'll have to use them in the manual mode though. Unfortunately, I've heard the same poor reviews for their present digital cameras. I'd probably lump them in with GE and Kodak digital cameras which have also been known to have questionable performance and-or durability.

You can google Vivita's website. I believe that is a download link there.
If not, you can contact them and ask them how to obtain a replacement driver.

Actually it would be much easier just to pick up a card reader. They're available where ever cameras are sold for little $$. No extra software, no cable, no hassle.
