How have we fallen so far

I swear things were ok a second ago

I cant find the cracks

Its like things are ok

But I know with everything I am that they aren’t

I promise that we were destined for more

Our capacity for love is far too great

To be trampled out by weakened hearts

Help me make the steps

Help me stride

We aren’t too far gone

Im not about to quit

I see too much sacrifice to just give in

Brace yourself
