It can be done in a day as YR said, however, it varies because of things like waiting on waivers, transcripts etc. I also had to get a confirmation of a clean record signed off from my local PD due to an erroneous bench warrant that came up on NCIC, so I was processed in three days over a period of four weeks. I was not exactly a saint when I was young.
Oh yeah, there was one more day that I ended up leaving after telling them thanks but no thanks, when they told me there were no Ranger slots. The following day a miracle happened and a Ranger Slot suddenly became available,

2 if you take the asvab one evening then do the physical and enlisting and all that stuff the next day
