How do I find sources of used book donations for a charity?

Do you have any suggestions on how a 501c3 non-profit might find sources for free books (new or used). This is for a bookmobile / lending library focusing on animal care/welfare topics. Any donated books that don't fit into the lending library will still be put to good use, either shared with other good charities or sold to raise money to support the program.

Thanks for any ideas on how we can create a book drive program. I have tried our web site, Craigslist ads, our email list, & our Facebook page.

Ask local libraries, schools, hospitals and bookstores what they do with books they want to get rid of. You can also check the web sites of publishing houses to see if they donate books directly, and how you could apply.
