Problem with a puppy.?

My 9 wk. old Rotti/Shep puppy tries, constantly, to take chew sticks from my other larger dogs. Right from their mouths! I am forever telling the older dogs to leave the puppy alone, which I think is not right, as I am making the older dogs think they are being disobedient. Any ideas, other than let the puppy get bitten?

Update:

I received two excellent answers, and it is impossible to choose the best one. So, I'd like to choose both, if that is possible.

Don't scold the older dogs, they're not doing anything bad right ? Scold the puppy. Tell her no, and then place her back to her own. After a while the dogs will start vending for themselves and they will start to growl and protect what is theirs. I just got a puppy too and she likes to take their dog food, but one doesn't at all let her and growls, but the other one let her just come and eat her food. I'm finding now that the one that was nice is starting to growl as the puppy gets older.

Just watch them for now and let them figure it out themselves :)

Your dogs will treat her as a puppy and allow her to do a few things. As she matures they will decrease what they allow and force her to find her place in the pack. Usually the dogs will mostly growl and put her down, some may snap but they do not usually bite pups. As she gets older they may start to bite her if she does not show proper respect. Only disipline one who actually bites at this early stage.
