can i carry on my vera bradley large duffel?

I am flying from Philly to Pittsburgh on U.S. Air. Because I have to be somewhere quickly after the flight lands I don't want to have to wait for my bag if I check it. The bag I would like to carry on is the Vera Bradley large duffel. It's dimensions are 22" x 11.5" x 11.5". U.S. Air's requirements for carry-ons are 22" x 14" x 9". Has anyone ever carried on this duffel or do you know if they'll let me? Thanks in advance!

    Yes.. in my opinion since the fabric is very flexibel youll be able tosqueeze that extra 2 inches around
