Although no dog is truly hypoallergenic, people with dog allergies are less likely to have problems with a Yorkie.

No dog is truly "hypoallergenic." A very common and very marketable myth. Yorkies, like some other breeds are non-shedding, but that does not mean that allergy sufferers are safe. Allergies are triggered most commonly by pet dander, hair and even saliva--Yorkies have all those things too.

There is a huge debate about this but the fact of the matter is that some dogs are better for some allergy sufferers. Some people will still be allergic to a yorkie, but their symptoms should be much less severe...they may not be bothered at all. It depends on the person and how often the dog is groomed.

I believe they are a breed who are considered to less likely cause allergies. But there is no such thing as a 100% hypoallergenic breed. Dander/saliva/urine/etc. Humans are allergic to the proteins in those things, last time I checked all dogs shed, all dogs have saliva, and all dogs pee.
I am sure there are people out there that can be triggered by a yorkie, you could be one of them.

http://allergies.about.com/od/animalandpetallergy/... this is a webpages that says that no dog is totally hypoallergenic but some dogs do cause fewer allergies

Nope. No dog breed is, because all dogs have saliva and dander (dander is from skin, which ALL dogs have) and these are the 2 main causes of allergies.
