Update:

The Torah does not Emphasize Paradise

http://www.avakesh.com/2009/07/why-torah-does-not-...

Update 2:

Luke 23, 43, Christ says to the robber on the cross: "Today you will be with me in paradise". However, the robber also refers to paradise, when he says: "Remember me, Lord…in your kingdom". (2Cor.12:3-4) Paul Mentions Paradise.http://www.orthodoxytoday.org/articles-2009/Mettal...

Update 3:

Kingdom of God. Heaven

Luke 23.43

42Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[f]"

. Rev. 2.7 Rev. 22.1-5.

7He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Paul's Vision and Thorn

2 Cor.12 1-4

Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. 3And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— 4was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell.

Paradise; a word of Persian origin, meaning a pleasure ground, orchard, garden, or park.

    It means heaven in Luke 23:43; 2 Corinthians 12:4; 12:2; Revelation 2:7; 22:2]

There will be eternity in heaven for those designated to be there. There will be eternity on earth as well for the "great crowd" to live there. (Rev. 7:9) The word paradise means a garden or park-like setting. This is actually what will happen on earth because he stated that he did not create the earth for no reason. (Isaiah 15:12; Ps. 115:16; Eccl. 1:4; Isa. 45:18)

Summarizing Genesis 3:1-24... In the beginning Adam and Eve were placed in Eden. They had everything they needed and lacked nothing. Including direct communication from the Creator. If they had not disobeyed, which resulted in sin that they passed on to all humans, this beautiful garden would have extended throughout earth. Of course, they did disobey so that set up the need for Christ to come to earth to redeem mankind from sin and death. Actually, if they would not have disobeyed they would have been able to eat from the Tree of Life that was there in the garden. God's purpose will be realized. Sure He could have zapped them out right then and there but issues needed to be settled. The same issues came up with Job. That is: God's right to rule and if man will serve out of love and not out of selfish pursuits. When the time is right, we will see the end of this system.

Heaven is where Jesus Christ is and his anointed Kings and Priests. They are the ones that will rule over the earth once all the wickedness, including the demons are done away with. (Rev. 14:1) For that 1,000 year reign it will be more wonderful than anyone can imagine. We will all be able to build, to plant and restore the earth to the conditions that will make it beautiful. We will have divine help! (Rev. 20:4) At last the meek will indeed inherit paradise. (Ps. 37:10, 11, 29; Zep. 2:3; Rev. 21:1-4) Then a final test. Then the "real world" and eternity........!

Paradise and heaven are used interchangeably. The 1000 year reign of Christ could be considered the paradise on earth, but it is only temporary, after that satan is loosed. Heaven is Heaven, it is not on the earth, but is absolute paradise. The people who say paradise is on earth are usually Jehovah's Witnesses and their statement is only half true (like the religion). the 1000 years will be the day of the dawn spoken of in 2 Peter 1:19. This is the beginning of the slaying of the sinners and the righteous reign of 1000 years. So paradise yes.. However the term paradise earth is nowhere in the bible. Paradise is, and earth is. But not together. when the 1000 year reign is over (which it hasnt begun), Satan is loosed and the unrighteous are again born into the world and things repeat themselves. than Armageddon happens (which means the big battle of Megiddo - which is a place in the middle-east). And the permanent paradise happens and the New Jerusalem plops ontop of the old and earth is remade, and so forth. Edit: oh your Luke 23 verse is not correct either. He was taken into paradise (heaven) with Christ. The resurrection happened that day. See Matthew 27:52. All those saints got taken up with Christ too to heaven.. or paradise.

Heaven is the spirit realm way above us. There is no nighttime there. Revelation 22:5, 21:23, 25. Thus no garden, growing seasons, etc.

Paradise means garden. Eden meant paradise of pleasure.

Paradise is the earth. Psalms 37. Plants and animals will always continue here as will righteous people. Isaiah 11:6-9, Ps. 78:69, Isaiah 65:17-66:1, Psalms 148 esp. 6 and many more.

There are 2 different hopes for righteous persons. The judges go to heaven and live as angels. The subjects stay on earth and live as flesh with the plants and animals. Gen. 8:21, 22, Eccles 1:4, Psalms 72: KJV

1Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

2He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

3The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

4He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

5They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

6He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

7In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

8He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Being judged by God is a good thing. It means you will get cured, helped, taught, fed, etc.

The scriptures show that the earth, as it was in the beginning, will become Paradise-like once again. (Isa 45:18;Ps 37:29;Isa 35:1;Isa 65:17-25;Rev 21:3,4)

Some humans have been chosen to go to heaven for a specific purpose. (Rev 5:10) They are chosen to be a part of the heavenly Kingdom (government).

That government will bring the blessings for earth mentioned above.

In the begining Paradise was established on earth. The purpose of God is re create all things again....in the same place.

(Psalm 37:11)  But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

The God-given hope of heavenly life for the choosen ones who will rule the earth from heaven. They will rule over the entire planet transformed in a paradise, just as Jesus promise.

(Revelation 5:9-10) 9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

The roots of these 2 words are different.Heaven comes from

German word "HImmel"(means sky) and Paradise comes

from Persian word "Paradis"(means garden).the image they

induce in mind are different and Paradise is closer to the

    christian image.

There are some who say that Paradise and Heaven are two different places.

    For Example:

In his book "Against all Heresies" the theologian Irenaus described Heaven as the place where those chosen by God would live forever in the direct presence of God; while Paradise was for the Righteous dead who had not been chosen for heaven.

However as I understand it they are synonyms.

hades where all people went after death before Jesus Christ appeared on earth was divided into a place of torment and pardise.when Jesus Christ died on the cross He went to paradise. when He arose He freed all the believers to go to heaven and the firey side engulfed paradise because there wasnt a need for it anymore.

    Paradise is on earth:

The Promised Land’s verdant beauty and fruitfulness was such that merely mentioning certain locales brought to mind paradiselike conditions. That is clear from the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 35, which had an initial fulfillment when the Israelites returned from Babylon. Isaiah foretold: “Without fail it will blossom, and it will really be joyful with joyousness and with glad crying out. The glory of Lebanon itself must be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and of Sharon. There will be those who will see the glory of Jehovah, the splendor of our God.” (Isaiah 35:2)

Because of sin, Adam lost his right to live in that paradise and his opportunity to gain the right to everlasting life, which right was represented in the fruit of a divinely designated tree in the center of the garden. The garden of Eden may have been enclosed in some way, since it was necessary to place angelic guards only at the east side thereof to prevent human entrance.—Ge 3:22-24.
